Common questions
No account is required. Mementome is entirely on-device — no sign-up, no login, no email address needed. Just download and start adding tasks.
All your tasks and settings are stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device frameworks. Nothing is sent to a server, synced to iCloud, or accessible to us. If you delete the app, your data is permanently removed.
Go to Settings → Notifications → Mementome and make sure notifications are enabled with "Allow Notifications" turned on. Also check that Focus / Do Not Disturb isn't blocking them. Mementome uses local notifications — no internet connection is needed for them to fire.
In rare cases, an update that changes the underlying data structure may reset the local database. We always aim to avoid this. If it happens to you, please contact us using the form below — your feedback helps us improve migration handling in future versions.
Make sure Bluetooth is on and both your iPhone and Apple Watch are nearby. Open Mementome on your iPhone — this triggers a sync to the Watch. The Watch app receives tasks via WatchConnectivity and should update within a few seconds of the iPhone app being opened.
Yes — if you transfer your new iPhone from a backup of your old one (via iPhone-to-iPhone transfer or iCloud backup restore), Mementome's local database is included in the backup and your tasks will be restored. A fresh install without a backup restore will start with an empty list.
